The STMT Catalyst will work with the Director of Short-Term Missions Teams to interact with and coordinate weeklong overseas and stateside mission teams with our field ministries team. Short-Term Mission Teams is one of East-West's most significant ministry strategies, as annually we send hundreds of evangelism team participants to the spiritually darkest areas of the world. We are searching for an administratively gifted, organized, and relational individual with a calling to be a part of God’s work among the unreached.
Areas of Responsibility
Mobilize individuals and parachurch ministries for Short-Term Missions Teams (STMT)
Oversee missions’ logistics on up to 4 overseas trips annually
Oversee logistics on an additional 10-15 STMTs annually from the home office
Attend meetings, retreats, and conferences as requested
Develop and maintain network of personal support
Areas of Qualification
Ability to raise and maintain personal support as this is a fully support-raised position
Understand how evangelism is a crucial step to Church Planting Movement (CPM)
Ability to travel overseas up to 6 weeks a year
Demonstrate teaching, leadership, and shepherding skills
Exhibit strong initiative, motivation, and ability to complete tasks on time and with excellence
Ability to respond with clear thinking during stressful situations
Demonstrate strong personal evangelism and discipleship skills
Demonstrate the ability to relate and communicate cross-culturally
Committed to continual learning of local ministry contexts and cultures
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Strong attention to detail is required
Strong administrative and organizational skills is required
