Global Security Associate

Department: Security & Crisis Management
Location:

The Global Security Associate is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day protective security operations (both foreign and domestic) and mitigating threats to East-West personnel, ministry, and assets. These duties include working on security-related projects, developing security policies and practices, assisting personnel with domestic and international assignments, leading training programs, assisting the crisis management team.

This is a fully support-raised position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and disseminate OSINT information
  • Monitor and daily input of global ops (Travel Requests, Training, Briefings, etc.)
  • Assist Crisis Management Team
  • Raise and maintain a network of personal and ministry support
  • Attend East-West sponsored activities and perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Maintain support-raised ministry partners and funding
  • 5+ years of verifiable experience in Open Source Data Analytics, OSINT Deep Dive Research, Law Enforcement-Criminal Intelligence, Executive Protection-Protective Intelligence, or Intelligence Analysis
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, required
  • Experience with intelligence, cybersecurity, conducting security assessments, planning, implementation, and crisis management within the context of an international non-governmental organization (NGO), required
  • Experience with tactical training and assignments
  • International field experience
  • Instructor experience, preferred

Experience & Skills

  • Must have an active passport or be able to receive one
  • Must be willing to travel internationally including hostile locations
  • Ability to raise personal support as well as develop and manage personal ministry budget
  • Excellent understanding of international security trends
  • Familiarity and experience with OSINT collection, vetting process and C-suite strategic analysis
  • Familiarity and experience with pre-travel briefings, trainings, travel requests, and bio paperwork
  • Ability to succinctly summarize and analyze current field activities
  • Ability to handle emergency notifications 24/7 to include mitigation process
  • Ability to respond with clear thinking and composure during high stress situations
  • Assist with event security planning/oversight
  • Familiarity with app development and upkeep
  • Proficiency in Google Suite products and other standard office software
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including evaluating and prioritizing issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in grammar and spelling
  • Ability to be respectful, discerning of confidentiality and privacy, respond diplomatically
  • Servant leader with the ability to motivate and work well with others
