Are you passionate about making God known among every nation, every tribe, every tongue, and every people group? Do you want to use your time, talents, and treasures to make an eternal difference? Do you want to provide the world with its greatest need – the life-transforming message of the gospel?
At East-West, our interns are essential members of the East-West team. We want to provide you with an opportunity to explore career paths in the nonprofit sector. We want to help you develop your professional skills and grow in your faith while putting your time to good use. You will be significant. You will be valued. And you will impact lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
With missionaries scattered throughout the world, the opportunity to intern overseas is also something to consider. Your world can be opened to a new culture while supporting current missionaries and the ministry they are doing to reach unreached people groups across the nations.
DESCRIPTION
East-West’s Overseas Internships serve as an opportunity to expose young adults who may be just starting to consider overseas missions to the day-to-day life of long-term missionaries in an overseas context. We look for students who have a top priority of sharing the Gospel and advancing the Kingdom. Our overseas interns partner with a long-term missionary team to find, engage, and lead nonbelievers from unreached people groups to faith in a manner that results in reproducing churches. In addition to doing this work, our overseas interns experience a new culture, learn the local language, and gain hands-on experience of life on the mission field.
The internship opportunities with East-West are located in a variety of locations, and during the application process, you will be able to learn more about each location and discern where your talents and passions could be used to serve others best.
