The Development Coordinator (DC) will provide development-specific research and caseload management support for the CEO. This support role includes providing development-specific administrative support primarily focused on the fundraising success of our CEO (with additional administrative support provided to the Development team). The DC will interact with a diverse group of external callers, donors and visitors as well as internal colleagues at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment and initiative are required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload under pressure and deadlines. Critical thinking and sound decision-making skills are necessary to maintain day-to-day coordination of the Development Department. In order to be successful, the DC must carry out the required functions in an honest, competent, and confident manner. Adaptability, sharp focus, and the capacity to continually adjust priorities are essential for excelling in this role.
As an ambassador of faith in Christ and rooted in Biblical principles, the DC will actively minister to EW leadership, staff, partners and the community in a manner that exhibits Christ-character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines.
Caseload Management-able to utilize Salesforce for donor management, notes etc
Oversee the preparation and distribution of CEO’s personal ministry newsletter
Prepare letters, packages, notes, emails, etc. as requested
Track major gifts on CEO’s caseload (reported on daily General Fund donation report)
Assist in managing CEO's Email accounts
Uphold the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive donor records and financial details
Essential Duties & Responsibilities for Development Team
Manage handwritten thank you notes process for unassigned General Fund gifts
Assist Relationship Managers with event-specific mass email communications
Prepare letters, packages, notes, emails, etc. as requested
Conduct weekly research on donors
Monthly expense reports/personal reimbursement requests
Intern onboarding/offboarding - add to Salesforce
Education and Experience
BA degree or equivalent experience within discipline, highly preferred
2-3 years minimum experience working in a similar role, preferred
2-3 years of ministry/nonprofit experience, preferred
Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ

Excellent organizational and time management skills, including proficiency in evaluating and prioritizing issues
